As you know, as a buyer, Pixelaart’s marketplace is open to you to purchase any service within the marketplace. However, this does not mean that every type of service is allowed to be offered on Pixelaart. One such service is academic work or homework. This article will help you understand what constitutes as “homework” and “academic work.” It will also provide you with resources regarding what to do if you encounter a seller who requests that you purchase this barred service from them.
First things first – as a buyer, please always refrain from requesting that any academic work or homework be done by one of our sellers on your behalf. Doing someone else’s academic work, which is most likely to be submitted as the student’s own work, is unethical as it is a direct violation of most schools’ Honor Codes. Furthermore, it may constitute copyright infringement. Pixelaart does not allow this, and other fraudulent activities, and it is not permitted on our platform. For more information visit Pixelaart’s Community Standards.
The Dos #
- You are welcome to purchase tutoring services from a seller to refine your knowledge in a specific subject.
- You are welcome to share a completed document, such as a project paper, essay, dissertation, and so on, for it to be proofread by one of our sellers.
The Don’ts #
- Do not ask for academic work. This includes but is not limited to:
- Homework
- Academic papers
- Bibliographies
- Do not request sellers to perform academic institution application services. This includes but is not limited to:
- Writing and completing college applications
- Writing letters of recommendation
If you violate these guidelines and attempt to purchase academic services, it could lead to a warning and, eventually, your account being disabled.
